All of the comments that I have read have been positive and reviewers have given it five stars. I have never felt out of control when moving the saw around. It was a good match and I am totally satisfied with both the saw and the stand. The stand is used for my Dewalt 10" table saw just as it was intended. I bought the Saw Stand in December of '08. Was it worth the money. I can move the whole package up and down the step (into and out of the shop) with ease. The handle for pushing and pulling the stand around on the wheels is just the right size and tucks out of the way when you don't need it.
I am now considering selling my Craftsman Table Saw and Radial Arm saw - that should add a lot of room to my shop.Would I buy another one. It goes from storage to setup with ease and I can move it around with ease. I didn't really like the assembly instructions but got it together okay. (I use a couple of small bungee cords to keep the blade cover in place while moving the stand around). I concur and give it five stars as well. The balance of the saw and stand together is phenomenal. For sure. I think so.
This product is constructed the same as the miter stand, except this stand the legs fold out much easier. I'd recommend this stand for its portability and the heavy duty aluminum construction.
I can now put it up, cut what pieces I need, work all day with it, whatever and put it down for storage to be able to get the cars in the garage very quickly. Makes using the table saw all the more handy.
Assembled easily. Received the stand very quickly after oredring.
But the ease with which the stands sets up and takes down is very handy. Remember to install the storage location for the allen wrench.
Put the axle bolts with the head out instead of in. I put my DeWalt table saw on it.
Very satisfied with the stand.
Super stable and easy to set up. This is a great stand. Very high build quality, but be careful to not lose the rubber feet if working in the snow/ ice/ mud. I have a porter cable 3812 10" table saw mounted to this super stand. I love it. I may have to glue mine on. Highly recommended.
Clever design details abound. And it works as it should. Also, it's easy to detach the table saw from the stand without using any tools. I was trying to figure out the sequence of folding the legs, and realized that it doesn't matter, they will nestle with each other just fine either way. That alone tells me that someone really clever was sitting at the drafting table coming up with this design. It's solid, and all the structural parts are metal, including the yellow "skirts." Nothing but good quality aluminum extrusions and steel stampings. The two yellow brackets stay bolted to the table saw.If I had the money, I would buy one of these stands for each of my bench top tools. It deserves a place in the Permanent Design Collection at New York Museum of Modern Art.
